As we move through the summer months, the NFHS has issued their rules revisions for 2026-27. A copy of those changes is linked below. In advance of the NFHS release, the AEC and Executive Board approved expanded electronic
communication between the coach and both the catcher and pitcher in an effort to improve the game’s pace of play. TAPPS continues our support of the NFHS Softball rules and we highly encourage all coaches to obtain a copy of the rules prior to the season.
